I was originally seated in the front because I was ranked 10th in my class, but Camille bumped me to the back by .2--I was not happy. I really wish I could have skipped it. I was not excited to graduate and I would really rather not have. Marching band gave me a $550 award, so that was a pleasant surprise.

From 9-3 that night was project graduation which was a party type thing the school throws at a ymca-esque place so we won't all get wasted. I swam, got caractures, boxed brett, and played ping pong--it was pretty fun. Everyone got a prize, some people got $250 at the mall or a tv...I got a picture frame and a candle.

On Friday, I officially did not get off Boston U's waitlist--I'm rather upset about that. I went to both Carlton's and Alvery's graduation party that night--nothing special, but worth attending.

Saturday I had to work 8-12, then my graduation party from 1-5...it was just family and my parents friends and we ended up staying till 8. I got an iPod nano from my parents and A LOT of money.

I worked on Sunday and Monday, I should really get a job at the video station. My father's using my car all week because his is in the shop. I played D&D at Ryan's house yesterday--we didn't really do much, but it was fun. I went to best buy today and swapped out my nano for a 30gb video iPod and purchased an iHome.

Everything is pretty awful right now.

Yesterday I also did not go to school because of Temple's placement tests. I had to take reading, writing, and math--I opted not to take German. The reading/writing were basically the SAT so that was easy. The math was kind of scary, I thought I'd do well but it was all hard logs at the end, so we'll see. I auditioned for their marching band afterwards, I got in. They have 5 or 6 performannces a year and I get 1 credit and a $600 scholarship that goes up every year.

Today was my last full day--I have to take an English final on Monday. We went to the painfully long parade--we stayed for two hours and still couldn't see the end, so we left. We went out to a Central American restaurant, it was decent. I went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Saturday. We were suppose to go for two or three hours, but we ended up being there almost six. I saw Egyptian art, armored knights, a couple sculpture gardens, and nineteenth century European art--my favorite pieces were the Van Gogh, Manet, and Munch paintings. I took my first of seven golf lessons last Monday--it's pretty fun. I went to Mr.Pennsville yesterday, it was pretty funny. Camille and I went and saw V for Vendetta today--it was fun.
The Saturday before last was The Spirit of New Jersey Drum & Bugle Corps open house--the music was really hard and it looks like I won't be returning. That Thursday, the 15th, Cornell rejected me--it's not really where I wanted to go, but I'm still really disappointed. I went to New York City the next day with the German Club--Camille and I won the competition for the third straight year, so I got more money. I bought a few sweaters and a shirt from The Gap. I worked a litte over 25 hours the past few weeks and almost 40 last week--it was absolute hell, but I think my hours are cut again (I got a raise to $7.50/$9.00). Debbie came from Iraq home on Christmas Eve--now I don't have a running car, but I'm getting the Porsche fixed tomorrow. For Christmas, I got 80 dollars worth of gift cards to Borders, books: Blankets, Chronicles of Narnia box set, Closing Time, and The Da Vinci Code, dvds: Star Wars Episode III, Cinderella Man, Charlie Brown Christmas Special, Sideways, Manhattan, Cheers Season 2, and Bottle Rocket, a Homer Simpsons novelty phone, a drum pad, a navy blue pea coat, a green sweater, and a TiVo. Debbie and I went and saw the Chronicles of Narnia last night--it was better than I thought, but still a lot worse than the book.

Even though there's no school and its my birthday, this is going to be a bad week. My iPod has pretty much died, I'm probably going to go buy a new iPod Video this week. I got into Rutgers with a $16,000 scholarship--I'll probably end up going there, but I'm finishing all my applications this week and also applying to Temple, Lehigh. Boston University, Haverford, and maybe one other.

Two weeks ago was a busy week. I worked all day on Sunday, then had marching band Monday through Wednesday. There wasn't any school on Thursday or Friday, that was rather pleasant. I went to Allentown for championships on that Saturday, I had to be at the school at 6:45 am. We came in 3rd and got best colorguard. I left for Ithaca, NY with my mother the next day. We visited Cornell--I sat in on a class, attended an information session, and toured the campus--it was nice. I got home Monday night. I worked on Tuesday and Thursday--I can't stand Save-A-Lot anymore; I need to find a new job. I went and saw Harry Potter over the weekend, it was really good. I got my subject test scores back today--I did poorly in US history and math, but I'm pleased with my literature score.
24 Days....

I sent out my Cornell application after I wrote the three essays, they're complete crap. Tuesday I had to skip marching band rehearsal to work from 4-10, it lasted forever, Wednesday was band from 6:00 until 9:00--I can't stand it anymore. I worked again on Thursday...I got done early, it was nice. Friday was the homecoming football game, Pennsville won---that at least one and up to four more playoff football games, not fun. I spent a lot of time studying for the SAT's--I took three Subject Tests today (Math Level 1, Literature, US History), I'm sure I did badly. I then went to the University of Delaware football game against the University of Massachusetts since my cousins play for Mass--It was fun, I got to see the marching bands perform several times. Afterwards, my family went out to the Iron & Wine Brewery for dinner.
40 days...

Marching band has been consuming a great deal of my time, but we go to Allentown on the 12th and that's the end. I won the ugliest costume prize at the band's Halloween party, I wore a dress. We got first place at every competition except for one second place. Senior year is not pleasant, I can't stand biology or psychology--two classes I should be enjoying. I killed my Porsche, I broke the rear axle and won't have the money to fix it for a couple of months. I took the ACT and SAT this month, I take subject tests next week. I'm applying early decision to Cornell, but I'll never get in. Working at Save-A-Lot really sucks now, we have all new managers that drive me crazy and I've been working 3, 4, and 8 hour weeks so I'm working for enough gas to drive to work.
I made a new layout.

Recently I have watched The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, and Cold Mountain--all of which were great movies that I need to purchase in the near future. Last weekend I went camping with BJ and Ryan at the Sportsman's Club--it was a lot of fun. We didn't leave Friday until around 11:00, we were supposed to leave at 9:30, but that didn't work out. Ryan and BJ were the epitome of white trash on Saturday--it was pretty funny. I worked from 5:00 until around 9:30, then went back to the Sportsman's Club. I came home Sunday afternoon, then worked for four hours that evening. Monday night I had drum line practice. I went and saw Fantastic Four with Camille yesterday--it was nothing spectacular, but it was what I expected and worth seeing. The power went out while we were watching the movie due to a thunderstorm--the movie resumed a few minutes later when the power flicked back on. I went to the dentist today to get my teeth cleaned--I really hate the dentist. I then had my last ever class at DTCC--I'm so glad it's over.

Which Revenge of the Sith Character are you?
created with QuizFarm.com

I quit working at Splash Swim Center--it was just too much on top of Save A Lot. Thursday night I went to see Bewitched--the first showing was sold out, so we went to target. I finally bought a Darth Tater! The movie was pretty funny. I finally got around to seeing The Breakfast Club on Saturday. Yesterday I went to Wildwood for the day. I haven't been their in almost three years--I like the beach, but that one is prettty trashy. They had a game where you shoot middle eastern people with paintball guns called Shoot the Insurgents---it must really offend many people. Today I worked and had the first summer drum line practice--only 2 people showed, so we got out early. I just ordered my summer reading books (Taming of the Shrew, Pride and Prejudice, & Return of the Native) and Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince--I can't wait till Saturday.
